The Slopes

Has Everything  |  Park City Resort
Park City Resort combines a huge variety of terrain and an assortment of slopes, two base villages, and direct ski access to Old Town Park City. It's the perfect place for families and snow enthusiasts of all levels and all disciplines.

Fewer Crowds + Luxe Services
Deer Valley Resort
Loved for its crowd-free, skiing-only, perfectly groomed runs, Deer Valley Resort offers top-notch services that are on par with the best in the world. More is to come in the next few years, with the addition of the Mayflower terrain and base village.

There is plenty to choose from when it comes to high-quality groomed runs at our local resorts. According to Ski Magazine's rankings, Deer Valley offers the best grooming in North America year in and year out.

Nabob + Steins Way
Deer Valley Resort
Deer Valley Resort's groomed runs are a cut above the rest, and Nabob and Stein's Way are two of the frequently mentioned favorites. Nabob offers a consistently smooth ride with just the right amount of pitch to keep things interesting. Stein's Way offers long, sweeping turns through stunning scenery, giving you a run that is truly worthy of its namesake.

King Con + Boa  |  Park City Resort
King Con is a short but sweet run that offers lots of room for carving, suitable for both experienced skiers as well as those who are working on leveling up their skill set. For those looking for a longer run, Boa is wide and mellow, winding along the northern end of the resort.

Jupiter Peak  |  Park City Resort
No surprise here - the glades, chutes, and bowls surrounding Jupiter Peak were voted as the place to be for those seeking powdery, off-trail turns. West Face and Scott's are two favorites in this area. Runner-up votes went to tree skiing in the areas around Thaynes and the Colony.

Mayflower Bowl  |  Deer Valley
Mayflower Bowl was the top off-piste pick at Deer Valley Resort, celebrated for its powder-filled chutes. Additional votes also went to Ontario Bowl, an area that is hiked to and holds good powder for longer than other areas at the resort.

Super Condor + Motherlode
Park City Resort
Motherlode and Super Condor lifts are located in opposite areas of Park City Resort, but they received top votes for what they have in common; they are both good spots to get away from the lift lines, providing opportunities to make laps without wait times.

Sultan  |  Deer Valley Resort
Sultan lift takes the crown for its access to a variety of long, steep groomers that both intermediates and experts can enjoy. Honorable mentions go to Sterling for its top-notch groomers, Mayflower for its quieter slopes, and the Wasatch High Speed lift for quick access to a diverse range of terrain.

Claim Jumper + First Time
Park City Resort
With its gentle gradient and convenient lift access, First Time is ideal for brand-new skiers and snowboarders. However, once a beginner has mastered basic skills, they will appreciate the long, less-crowded terrain of Claim Jumper. It's the perfect run for beginners and intermediates to hone their skills.

Success  |  Deer Valley Resort
Success is a clear favorite for beginners at Deer Valley, noted for its excellent sun exposure and soft snow conditions that are ideal for those just starting out.

The satirical musical "Gwyneth Goes Skiing," inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow's notable 2023 ski trial, is set to grace Park City's Egyptian Theatre. Brought to life by Awkward Productions, a distinguished London-based theater company, this 90-minute show intertwines elements of love, deceit, skiing, and a whimsical touch of Christmas. With the unique twist of letting the audience serve as the jury, the play revisits the controversy with Linus Karp and Joseph Martin leading the cast. Opening dates have not been released.
